Descendants of William Reynolds & Jane Milliken |
|
After a few years of being somewhat dormant the Reynolds Family Circle is back in full active status. I became interested in genealogy on March 10th, 1974. I remember that date because we were on our way back home to Arlington, Texas, where I was stationed as an Army Recruiter, from my father's funeral in Mount Pleasant, Texas. My son, who was just shy of 5 years old asked me why he couldn't go to the actual funeral and I told him because he was too young. He stated that Pat got to go so why couldn't he (he would never call my sister Aunt Pat because she was a month younger than him). I told him that Pat was daddy’s daughter and he was his grandson. He then asked me, “Who was your grandfather”? After a few minutes I told him I honestly did not know you see my grandfather died before I was born and my grandmother died one month before I turned 4, so I never really knew either one of them. I decided then and there that I would start researching my family to find out who my grandparents and great grandparents were. I want to create a website that lists each and every descendant of William Reynolds and Jane Milligan, and as much information as possible about their descendants, in order for our descendants to know who their ancestors were. I feel that this information should be so much more than just names and dates! I’ll need everyone’s help on this monumental task, so send me any information that I am missing!
